In short, yes you can.

Coolset leverages public databases to access the latest emission factors, ensuring our carbon footprint calculations are as accurate as possible. However, these databases may not cover all products and services, especially those involving specialized materials. If your company's products fall into this category, it's possible that the most precise emission factor may not be readily available in our system.

We highly recommend reaching out to your suppliers to inquire if they can provide an accurate emission factor for the materials or products you use. Should your supplier have this information and be willing to share it, Coolset will undertake thorough research to verify the emission factor's validity.

Upon confirming the accuracy of the provided emission factor, we will incorporate it into our database. This addition will allow us to update your transactions with the most precise carbon footprint calculations. This practice not only enhances the reliability of our sustainability assessments but also promotes transparency and collaboration across the supply chain, contributing to a more sustainable ecosystem.
