Country-specific assessments for EUDR now available in the Coolset app
Last updated: January 5, 2026
What does the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) require?
Article 9 of the EUDR explains that companies must ensure that products are:
deforestation-free, and
produced in compliance with national and international laws.
To assess compliance with the laws in the country of production, Coolset provides country-specific legal and risk insights, helping organisations understand obligations, identify exposure, and meet EUDR requirements in a clear and guided way.
Which countries are currently supported on the app?
You can now complete the EUDR Origins assessment (country-specific assessment) for select countries. This feature enables more accurate risk evaluations by incorporating national legal requirements directly into the App.
Now when completing the questionnaire, producers are prompted to answer country-specific questions and upload all documentation that proves compliance with local laws.
These inputs are displayed in a dedicated assessment table on the risk assessment page that separately assesses the country specific questions.
